So I was really excited to find some new, trendy iPod headphones for the low, low price of only $12.99, but it turns out that the offer is too good to be true.

They come in a weird box with chinese writing on it, the headphones rattle when you move them, the writing on the headphones is a bit “off”…and it’s clear that Elven Adar did not ship me the headphones that I paid for.

I am returning the headphones, and Amazon, I hope that you stop selling these as legitimate, as they are garbage!

Like other reviewers here, I purchased these because I enjoyed the comfort that the original “iBuds” had, and looked for a replacement, after they gave out, around a year after purchasing my iPod. So I bought two of these around a month ago, and I am already looking for replacements, since both of them gave out; the first one yesterday, the final one straight out of the package this morning. But I’ll put this review in a bullet format, just for you guys:

PROS:
- They’re Cheap
- They are comfortable, while the hardware holds up

-They’re CHEAP
- The rubber film around the earbuds will start to lose form and tear, as if you’ve been holding it under a lighter
- My second set had a horrible buzzing in the right ear phone, straight out of the package
- My first set developed shorts in both buds (within 5 minutes of each other after 1 month of use)
- Both sets had the rubber ring at the bottom of the boud (where the cord comes out) detach. The first set, within two weeks, the second, straight out of the package
- The sound quality is HORRIBLE. There is NO bass whatsoever.

I’ve found better headsets at half the price in the bargain bin at Radio Shack. The reason why these things sell is because they look exactly like a pretty good product that someone else makes. But trust me, these things aren’t even worth the $7.
