I need help wiring my home cinema kit to my TV and PS3?
I am completely lost trying to set my home cinema kit up.
I have a Samsung LE32R8 LCD TV, Sony DAV-DZ260 DVD Home Theatre and Sony PS3.
Currently, the PS3 is connected to the TV via HDMI cable. The home cinema is connect to the TV via HDMI, Digital Coaxial Audio Cable & Digital Optical Audio Cable (the home cinema only has 1 HDMI output.
At present I can get full surround sound through the DVD player however the PS3 and TV will only go through the front speakers, central speaker & sub.
What am I doing wrong and do i need both Digital Coaxial Audio Cable & Digital Optical Audio Cable?
my son says for us to get it through the surround sound, we have to buy a special cable. he says they make them just for that. I want to play rockband with the surround sound, but every way we do it, it won’t. I’m going to look for the cable at gamestop.
