Customer Review: Panasonic Surround Sound
This was a refurbished product. I had some trouble figuring out the set up because the instructions were poor — but one phone call to Panasonic and I was fine. Great unit for the price!
Customer Review: Happy with the purchase at a good price
This was my first purchase of a home theater in the box system; came refurbished, but everything looks new. Very easy to set up. I went with this system as I liked the “Tall-Boy” speakers instead of going through the hassle of doing any wall mounts and to allow for reconfiguration should my room layout ever change. The two rear surround speakers are wireless in the sense that they connect into an amplifier which is itself wireless. Still learning how to use everything, but the first movie watched on the system was “The Dark Knight” — plenty of effects to pull out the true surround feature and I can say that was what I was hearing out of those rear speakers. The price was right (about $265, w/ an extra $35 spent on a HDMI cable at Walmart) — there are probably better systems out there which are more costly, but this one suits my purposes just fine and as a father of two small children, I certainly don’t need to be sound-blowing out my windows or anything like that.
