I have other reviews on this product and many of them complained to read the book. The sound quality will not please those who want to hear any sound or nuance, but I have this for my father to listen to books on tape and to this end is perfect. The speaker sits comfortably on the console and since no adapter is needed, there is no worry about tangled cables or wires crossed. We have given a trial run yesterday, and it worked well. I caution those who use them to be very careful when opening the device. The way in which the event takes place a little ‘complicated, so that is one thing to be aware of. I thought that what you expect from a $ 20 passive speakers. I was surprised. I bought it because I do not want problems with the battery or power cord. Since this is a passive speaker no gain () I thought the book would not be so different from the speakers on my iPod touch. I was wrong. Even if the bass does not sound (it was actually recommended to lower the bass, if your source is EQ) was strong enough to watch a video or listen to music in my office (much louder than my speakers for the iPod). And you can not beat the convenience factor (no cable is connected.) I was quite happy with that. Rating: 5 / 5
